On the second day of the workshop, 3 sessions including “Intercultural Communication”, “Language Teaching Environments as Encounters of Cultures“ and “General Evaluation” were held. In the first session, led by Hacettepe University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Nurettin Demir, the issues of communicative competence in the target language arising from cultural differences and correct and effective teaching of the communicative characteristics of the target language were discussed. During the second session, led by Hacettepe University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Nermin Yazıcı, empathic approaches, cultural conflicts, intentional/unintentional prejudices and micro-aggressions were discussed. In the third and last session of the day “General Evaluation”, led by Hacettepe University Faculty Member Nebi Özdemir, the thoughts that occurred during the 2 days were evaluated. Since the outputs of the workshop are concrete proposals, they are expected to be evaluated in Turkish Learning Centers.
