Visits Continue Within the Scope of University–Industry Collaboration

Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADU) Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent visited Kaanlar Gıda A.Ş., operating in the Buharkent Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ), in order to strengthen university–industry collaboration.

Within the scope of the visit, Rector Kent met with Mustafa Kaan, Member of the Board of Directors of Kaanlar Gıda A.Ş., and received information about the company’s fields of activity, production processes, and future plans.

The visit was also attended by Buharkent Mayor Mehmet Erol, ADU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan Salan, Acting Secretary General Prof. Dr. Bertan Akyol, Buharkent Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kaya, Ersin Turgut, Member of the Board of Directors of Seval Kablo A.Ş., as well as the academic and administrative staff of Buharkent Vocational School.

During the meeting, evaluations were made on further developing university–industry cooperation, and potential collaborations were discussed in areas such as joint projects, internship opportunities for students, academic consultancy processes, and R&D activities. Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent emphasized the importance of sustainable projects that bring the university’s knowledge base together with industry.
