The 2nd International and 7th National Emergency Nursing Congress, jointly organized by the Emergency Nurses Association, BZT-Turan Academy, and Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADU), was held in both face-to-face and online formats at our university on April 26–27, 2025.
During the congress, the study titled “Nursing Care of a Child Diagnosed with Bronchopneumonia in the Intensive Care Unit Based on Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns Model”, prepared by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seher Sarıkaya Karabudak from the Department of Pediatric Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, and her graduate student Esra Songül Kul, received the first prize in the oral case presentation category.
Additionally, the study titled “Assessment of a Child Diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome Based on the Neuman Systems Model”, prepared by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seher Sarıkaya Karabudak and her graduate student Helin Büşra Işık, won the fourth prize in the oral case presentation category.
These awards reflect the academic excellence and research strength of our faculty and students, further contributing to the university’s recognition in the field of nursing education and healthcare sciences.
