Türkiye Cyber Homeland Program Cooperation Protocol was signed at our university

Within the scope of the Cyber Homeland Program to be held in Aydın in 2025 in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA), “Cyber Homeland Program Cyber Security Training Cooperation Protocol” was signed between our University and South Aegean Development Agency on November 5, 2024.

Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, Secretary General of GEKA Ümit Gülyağı, Secretary General of our University Prof. Dr. Bertan Akyol, GEKA Aydın Investment Support Office Coordinator Numan Katıksız and GEKA Aydın Investment Support Office Specialist Gülşah Öselmiş attended the signing ceremony.

Within the scope of the 'Development Agencies Cyber Homeland Program Cyber Security Training' signed in order to meet Türkiye's need for cyber security experts, employment opportunities are provided at the end of the program for the students of our University who want to improve themselves in the field of cyber security and complete their training and tasks on the platform. The Cyber Homeland Program raises qualified young people in accordance with national strategies and builds the digital security future of our country.

The program prepares students for the digital world of the future with in-depth technical trainings in the field of cyber security, teamwork vision meetings and national and international competitions. With its multilateral collaborations and end-to-end coordinated components, mentorship and active follow-up system, the program stands out not only as an education program but also as a career-building program.
