TÜBİTAK 1001 Funding for the “Production of Paraprobiotics from Enterococcus lactis SF68” Project

 

The project titled “Production of Paraprobiotics from Enterococcus lactis SF68 via Thermal Inactivation and Evaluation of Their Effects on the Microbiota and Inflammatory Signaling Pathways in Experimental Chronic Ulcerative Colitis,” managed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ecem Akan, a faculty member at our university’s Faculty of Agriculture, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.

The aim of the project is to realize the production of paraprobiotic from Enterococcus lactis SF68 strain by thermal inactivation method and to evaluate the effects of the obtained paraprobiotic on microbiota and inflammatory signaling pathways in an experimental chronic ulcerative colitis model.
