The Primary School Mathematics Teaching, Science Teaching and Special Education Teaching undergraduate programmes run by our University’s Faculty of Education have successfully completed the evaluation processes conducted by the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programmes (EPDAD), thereby qualifying for accreditation for a period of three years.
The accreditation is valid from 1 May 2026 to 1 May 2029. It was stated that improvement efforts aimed at further enhancing the quality of the programmes will be pursued with determination, in line with the feedback received during the evaluation process.
Our University Rector, Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, in his assessment of this achievement, stated that this outcome demonstrated by the Faculty of Education is a significant indicator of our university’s quality-focused approach to education. Our Rector said, “The fact that three undergraduate programmes of our Faculty of Education have been awarded accreditation is a concrete outcome of the quality assurance philosophy we have adopted as an institution. This success validates the quality of the education we provide to our students, whilst also contributing to the recognition of our graduates’ professional competencies at both national and international levels. We will continue our efforts with determination in line with our goal of continuous improvement.”
