Our University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has achieved an important success by registering the quality and standards of education by being entitled to use the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) Logo.
At the 47th Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) Board Meeting held on October 14, 2024, our University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was entitled to use the Turkish Qualifications Framework Logo on Higher Education Graduation Certificates.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine became the first program of our University to be approved to use the TQF Logo on diploma supplements, transcripts and graduation documents, as it meets the criteria for the use of the logo.
In order to be able to use the TQF Logo on higher education graduation certificates, the relevant program must be accredited by accreditation bodies authorized by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) or recognized accreditation bodies, the program qualification form must be compatible with the relevant qualification type specifier, and the qualification must be included in the Turkish Qualifications Database run by the Vocational Qualifications Authority (VQA).
Having the TQF Logo on the graduation certificate brings some advantages to higher education graduates internationally. The diplomas of graduates from programs with this logo are recognized abroad faster and employment opportunities increase.
In addition, the TQF Logo facilitates the direct mutual recognition of higher education internship qualifications and the achievements of study periods spent abroad and facilitates horizontal and vertical student mobility.
