According to the data of the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Health Services, Department of Health Tourism, our Faculty that is the only public institution that has this authority certificate in the field of Dentistry (https://dosyamerkez.saglik.gov.tr/Eklenti/35653,kamu-universitesi-saglik-tesisleripdf.pdf?0), is the first institution among all public health facilities in Aydın to receive this certificate.
Within the scope of the Regulation on International Health Tourism and Tourist Health published in the Official Gazette dated 13 July 2017 by the Ministry of Health, Health Tourism service in our country can only be provided by the institutions having International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate. In order to obtain this authorization certificate, it is one of the basic criteria foreseen in the regulation mentioned to have at least 85 points within the scope of the Assessment of Quality Standards in Health.
