Since the year the Department of Journalism began graduating students, ADU Journal has been published twice a year. The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Emre Dingin, while the Editorial Board consists of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eren Ekin Ercan, Dr. Lecturer Hicabi Arslan, and Lecturer Aslihan Topal. The editors of the publication include Research Assistant Samet Akveran, Sidika Akcan, Emircan Yaman, Nagihan Simsek, Azra Filikci, Tuna Algan, and Saniye Kaya.
The seventh issue of ADU Journal features news reports prepared by senior students of the Journalism Department as part of their coursework. In his foreword, our University’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Bulent Kent, highlighted the importance of the articles published in the journal, which cover scientific developments at our university, as well as Aydin’s cultural and social values. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Bulent Kent emphasized that the opinions of students published in the journal are highly valuable to the university administration.
Students will have the opportunity to submit the news articles and designs published in ADU Journal to prestigious competitions such as TRT’s Future Communicators Competition and the Young Communicators Competition. Through ADU Journal, students will gain hands-on experience and be able to showcase their work in their professional portfolios.
