The budget of the project is 401.000 TL and the results of the project are intended to be published in international journals and presented in national/international congresses starting from the first year.
The goal of the project is to determine the pure states of the magnetic MBene structures selected in atomic size by using computerized calculation methods such as the first principles based on quantum mechanics and Monte Carlo simulation (MC) covering the HK model, and to reveal the electronic and magnetic properties of the structures terminated by atomic and molecular groups such as –O, -F, and –OH, and the required phase transition temperatures.
The project coordinator Assoc. Dr. Olcay Üzengi Aktürk expressed that “With the help of the data to be obtained within the scope of this project, a significant contribution will be made to the literature and at the same time, it will contribute to the addition of new materials to the group of magical materials of nanotechnology, which is considered to be the technology of today, and the production of devices based on MBene.”
