The IEEE ADU Student Community, of which the students of the Faculty of Engineering are members, achieved important degrees in the 18th IEEEXtreme programming competition organized by the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Eight teams represented our University in the competition, which took place on October 26, 2024 and 8,784 teams participated worldwide.
One of our teams ranked 13th among 105 teams in Türkiye and 979th in the world ranking in the competition where participants were tested on their algorithm building skills by solving programming problems of different fields and difficulties within 24 hours. The other team ranked 20th in Türkiye and 1679th in the world ranking. This success achieved by the IEEE ADU Community not only contributes to the further development of the technical knowledge and strategic thinking skills of the community, but also continues to inspire our students.
