On the third day of the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Italy, our student and national athlete Tuğba Danışmaz won the silver medal in the women's triple jump and became the second in Europe. Danışmaz also broke the Turkish record in the competition where she also received a quota for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In the organization held at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, the capital of Italy, our student national athlete Tuğba Danışmaz made a jump of 14.29 meters in her first jump. Breaking the Turkish record with 14.57 meters in the second jump, Tuğba also received the Paris 2024 ticket.
Tuğba Danışmaz had won the gold medal in the women's triple jump at the 2023 European Indoor Athletics Championships in Istanbul.
