Unmasked Smiles Club provided books and stationery for Akçakonak Mahallesi Primary School in the district of Söke. Unmasked Smiles Club, which has made a name for itself with activities they have previously carried out, gathered books and stationery items for two weeks and met with children in Akçakonak Mahallesi Primary School where families with low income live. In addition, the club supported the children and their families through a variety of activities during the hospital visit. On March 8, International Women's Day, the members of the club organized a hand-painting activity with colorful paints in a stand they opened and handed ribbons to the participants. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selcuk Aldemir visited the stand of the club and supported the activity. Unmasked Smiles Club, carrying out a trekking event on the coast of Davutlar, gathered rubbish from the beach and also realized a book-reading event with the support of the Youth Center.
The Cycling Club organized a trip to the ancient city of Nysa with the active participation of the club members.
Psychological Counseling and Guidance Club came together with elders during the visit to Aymelek, drawing attention to the inequality between the gender roles as part of the March 8 International Women's Day.
ADÜ Young Theme Club started Brotherhood of Trees Project with children. Club members said “With their big hopes in their little hearts, each has a different story. With our little detectives this week, we enjoyed the beauty of nature by observing the finest details of nature and enjoying learning.”
The debate themed “Strong Women Throughout History” organized by The Sociologic Evolution Club attracted great attention in Women's Day activities. The members of the club watched the movie “Lord of the Flies”, commented and analysed the movie.
The club organized conferences on “The Future of Sociology Graduates” and “Sociological Overview to Age, Ageing and Ageing Societies: Demographic Transformations & Sociological Views of Ageing” with the contibutions of Prof. Dr. Gülsen Demir and Prof. Dr. Kayhan Delibaş from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
