The 2nd Transnational Meeting of "Developing Digital Skills of Farmers" Project supported by the National Agency of Turkey within the scope of ERASMUS+ Program 2018 Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships- Adult Education Program was held on 16-17 July 2019 in Greece, hosted by the project partner Aketh (Developmental Center of Thessaly).
Asst. Prof. Dr. Taner Arabacıoğlu and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersen Yazıcı attended the Second Transnational Meeting of the Project, which was conducted under the coordination of Aydın Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
During the two-day meeting starting with a presentation of the progress report of the project partners, information was shared on the activities implemented in the project, progress reports, and on-site visits of the specialists in National Agency of Turkey. In order to prepare the training module, determined as the first intellectual output of the project, needs analysis presentations were made and the current situation reports of the partner countries were evaluated as part of digital needs analysis-survey results of the farmers. Planning was made for the preparation of training module and materials and creation of open training materials.
On the second day of the meeting, training of trainers, implementation rules of the project, evaluation plan, project web site, sharing of tasks and general evaluations were made. The meeting, which was held with a total of 16 participants from 9 institutions and organizations that were project partners, ended with the distribution of certificates.
