Academicians and students from our University’s Faculty of Medicine gathered on February 13, 2025, for a sapling planting event held in the faculty garden. The event was organized as part of the Special Study Module, conducted under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Gizem Beril Ozdemir from the Department of Pediatric Surgery, with contributions from faculty members of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Faculty of Agriculture.
A total of 600 saplings of various species were planted during the event, which aimed to enhance environmental awareness and strengthen ecological consciousness. The activity was attended by Prof. Dr. Ayhan Akoz, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Gokhan Cesur and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur Yazici, along with faculty members and students.
