Interest and application performance of our students in the TÜBİTAK 2209 University Students Research Projects Support Program have increased significantly over the past four years, reaching a record level in 2025.
Application data show that the total number of submissions increased from 71 in 2022 to 125 in 2023, 355 in 2024, and reached 996 in 2025, clearly demonstrating the growing participation of our students in research activities. The number of supported projects also increased steadily, from 56 in 2022 to 90 in 2023 and 193 in 2024. The 2025 support results are currently under evaluation.
Based on three years of support data, several academic units stand out with high project acceptance rates. The Faculty of Engineering ranked first with 84 projects, followed by Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences with 67 projects and Aydın Vocational School with 58 projects. Other notable contributors include the Faculty of Communication (53 projects), Söke Vocational School (49), Faculty of Education (48), Faculty of Agriculture (45), and Buharkent Vocational School (41). These results highlight the diversification and strengthening of research activities across our university.
