The “Program-Based Quality Processes and Project Calls Information Meeting” organized by the Quality Office of our University was held on 24 September 2024 at Atatürk Congress Center Aydın Bey Hall.
Stating that in the information age, universities are not only knowledge transmitters, but also knowledge producers and innovation centers that have a critical role in the sustainable development of societies, Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent said, “With this understanding, our Project and R&D Office contributes to the realization of scientific research, technological developments and innovative solutions. Within the framework of the activities carried out, our University continues to be the pioneer of scientific research while contributing to social and economic development. Turning these studies into a culture is the common responsibility of all of us and the mission of our University. I would like to thank all my colleagues who contributed to this journey.”
Stating that the 'Project and R&D Office' was established in order to carry the scientific productivity and research potential of our University even further, Prof. Dr. Cemal İyem, Vice Rector of our University, gave information about the opportunities offered by the Project and R&D Office, the support programs it conducts and its achievements. Emphasizing that scientific research is very important not only for our University but also for the future of society, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal İyem invited academics to be supportive of scientific studies in this process.
After Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal İyem gave information about “Program-Based Institutional Quality Management and Accreditation Processes”, Accreditation Office Coordinators Instr. Enes Berduhan Kökerer and Instr. Cantürk Genç, Sustainability Office Coordinator Instr. Şeyma Nur Arısoy, Big Data Office Coordinator Instr. Ümit Bulut and Project and R&D Office Coordinator Instr. Dr. Kemalettin Ağızan made presentations titled “Introduction of YÖK (Higher Education Council) Academic Incentive Module”, “Introduction of the Project and R&D Office and Information on Project Processes”, “2209 and 2247 Project Introductions”.
The meeting ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation by Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, Rector of our University, to Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal İyem, Instr. Enes Berduhan Kökerer, Instr. Cantürk Genç, Instr. Şeyma Nur Arısoy, Instr. Ümit Bulut and Instr. Dr. Kemalettin Ağızan.
