Our university has achieved significant success in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024, which evaluates environmentally friendly universities and which we participated for the first time.
In the ranking, where criteria such as environmental awareness, sustainability and campus infrastructure are taken into account, Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADU) displayed a remarkable performance in the national and international arena; It ranked 915th among 1477 universities evaluated worldwide and 241st among 340 universities in Europe. Among the regional universities, ADU ranked 11th in the 'Setting and Infrastructure (SI)' category, 12th in the 'Energy and Climate Change (EC)' and 'Waste (WS)' categories, 10th in 'Transportation (TR)', 14th in 'Water (WR)' and 11th in 'Education (ED)'.

Our university, which was evaluated by applying to GreenMetric for the first time, ranked 915th among 1477 universities evaluated worldwide and 241st among 340 universities in Europe, showing an impressive performance at the international level.
Expressing his satisfaction with this success, which is a result of Aydın Adnan Menderes University's environmentally friendly and sustainability-oriented vision, Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent said, “As a university, we are working with all our strength to produce environmentally friendly projects and to offer our students a greener campus.
