On February 12, 2025, our University’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Bulent Kent, conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing studies at the Principles of Nutrition Laboratory within the Faculty of Health Sciences, as part of workplace health and safety measures.
During the visit, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cengiz Ozarslan and Acting Secretary-General Prof. Dr. Bertan Akyol accompanied Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Kent. The visit was also attended by Acting Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ayden Coban; Vice Deans, Dr. Lecturer Esra Orenlili Yaylagul and Dr. Lecturer Ozge Ece Gunaydin, along with academic and administrative staff of the faculty.
During the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Kent received information about the educational and research activities conducted in the laboratory and assessed the implementation of workplace health and safety protocols. Emphasizing the importance of improving and ensuring the safety of laboratories that contribute to the university’s educational activities, he stated that efforts in this area will continue without interruption in the coming period.
