Our Faculty Member's Invention Registered as a Utility Model

The invention of Prof. Dr. Gülengün Türk, the Faculty Member of Our University's Faculty of Nursing, Department of Nursing Fundamentals, and doctoral student Selçuk Görücü, titled “Infusion Set Preventing Drug Dosage Loss” (Registration number: 2023 019756), has been registered as a utility model by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.

This innovative system, developed to prevent medication dose losses that may occur during infusion applications, aims to ensure that patients receive the full and correct dose of medication. This invention, which constitutes an important step towards increasing patient safety in clinical applications, will also contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services.

Prof. Dr. Gülengün Türk, who had previously had an invention registered as a utility model, has now received her second registration, which is considered a concrete demonstration of our university's academic productivity and scientific contribution and is a source of pride for our university.
