Dr. Emrah Köksal Sezgin, faculty member at Kuşadası Davutlar Vocational School of Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADU), has been appointed as the Türkiye Country President by the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs), the world’s largest global gastronomy organization.
Within the scope of this prestigious appointment, Dr. Sezgin has been entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including representing Worldchefs on behalf of Türkiye, the authorized use of the Worldchefs logo, and the establishment and management of the official national culinary team. This role holds great significance in enhancing the international visibility and influence of Turkish gastronomy.
Previously earning the title of Türkiye’s first Olympic gold medalist chef, Dr. Emrah Köksal Sezgin has once again made history with this appointment, bringing international recognition and prestige to both our university and our country.
