Through the cooperation between Aydın Metropolitan Municipality and Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADU), a new transportation route extending from Kemer Neighborhood to ADU Aytepe Main Campus and ADU Hospital will be introduced to the city of Aydın.
The project, with a total investment cost of approximately 400 million Turkish Lira, will establish a strong new urban transportation line and significantly ease city traffic flow.
It is aimed to complete the project rapidly and put the new route into service by October 1, 2026. The new road will start from Kemer Boulevard and continue along Vakıf Street, Sakarya Street, Hükümet Boulevard, and the Topyatağı Variant. Expansion works will be carried out on the Kalfaköy Neighborhood road, and the route will proceed through the Tabakhane Stream Bridge. Hot asphalt paving will be applied along the entire route. The project will be completed with the construction of a new 1,750-meter road.
This major transportation infrastructure investment will strengthen Aydın’s transportation network and provide uninterrupted access to Aydın Adnan Menderes University Aytepe Main Campus and ADU Hospital.
