The evaluation report regarding the site visit conducted by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Educational Institutions and Programs of Veterinary Medicine (VEDEK) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADU) between May 12–16, 2025, was reviewed during the VEDEK Accreditation Board (VAK) meeting held on September 23, 2025.
Acting Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Cavit Kum, expressed his gratitude to all academic and administrative staff and students who contributed to the process, stating:
“Alongside our existing international EAEVE accreditation, the renewal of our national accreditation further strengthens our commitment to educating qualified veterinarians, enhancing our scientific research capacity, and providing services for the benefit of society.”
ADU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent emphasized that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s success represents an important achievement within the university’s broader vision, saying:
“In line with our Research University vision, Aydın Adnan Menderes University continues its efforts toward quality assurance, sustainable academic development, and internationalization. The renewal of our Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s national accreditation is a concrete reflection of this vision. I extend my sincere appreciation to all our academic and administrative staff who contributed to this accomplishment. As ADU, we will continue to strengthen our research-based educational approach and contribute to both our country and the global scientific community.”
