The ZADA Team, comprised of students from the Faculty of Engineering at our University, achieved a significant success at TEKNOFEST 2025 in the Combat Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Competition. With their Critical Design Report (CDR), the team scored 82.5 points, ranking fourth across Türkiye and earning a prize of 75,000 TRY.
Organized by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), the competition attracts widespread participation from across the country and serves as a prestigious platform for student teams to demonstrate their technological and engineering competencies.
The ZADA Team’s highly evaluated Critical Design Report reflects the members’ strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and effective teamwork. The report was praised by the jury for its comprehensive content, original design approach, and practical feasibility.
Having qualified for the next stage of the competition — the System Definition Video process — the ZADA Team is now working intensively to prepare a video presentation showcasing the UAV’s overall structure and operational design. The team continues their preparations with the goal of further enhancing the engineering capabilities of their system.
