Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADÜ) has achieved significant success at both the global and national levels, according to the Impact Rankings 2025 results announced by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's leading higher education ranking organizations. In the ranking, which evaluates universities' environmental, social, and economic contributions in line with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, our university has made a significant leap in its overall performance.
Ranked in the 601–801 band in the world rankings in 2024 with a score of 64.5–69.8, our university rose to the 401–600 band in the 2025 evaluation with a score of 74.4, moving up approximately 200 places in the global rankings. With this achievement, our university reached the 14–18 band in Türkiye, strongly demonstrating the impact of its strategic efforts in the field of sustainability at the national level. Additionally, ADÜ was evaluated in four main sustainable development goals within the scope of THE Impact Rankings 2025 and demonstrated a noticeable performance in each area at both the national and international levels.
Our university scored 81.5 points in the “Quality Education” category, ranking 35th globally and 6th in Türkiye. This area highlights the international recognition of our university's contributions to educational quality, accessibility, and inclusive learning environments.
With a score of 68 in the “Healthy and Quality Life” category, our university was ranked in the 201–300 band globally and in the 2–8 band in Türkiye, once again proving its impact on public health through its contributions to healthcare and scientific research.
With a score of 82.4 in the “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure” category, ADÜ is ranked in the 101–200 band globally and has risen to the 8–16 band in Türkiye, demonstrating its innovative practices, contributions to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and infrastructure investments, positioning it among the leading universities at the national level.
In the “Partnerships for Goals” category, our university scored 79.5 points, making a notable leap from 1,501st place last year to the 301–400 band in 2025. Ranked in the 7–12 band in Türkiye in this category, our university successfully reflects its coordinated efforts toward sustainable development goals through collaborations with national and international stakeholders.
At the core of our university's achievements are strategic institutional structures and a quality-based management approach, while units such as the Accreditation and Ranking Office, Sustainability Office, ADÜ Data Center, and Data Analysis and Statistics Center, established in recent years, enable our university to conduct data-driven, sustainable, and systematic studies in the fields of scientific, social, and environmental impact.
Evaluating the achievement, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent stated that Aydın Adnan Menderes University continues to increase its global recognition, saying, "The results of THE Impact Rankings 2025 are a concrete reflection of the strategic and comprehensive work carried out by our University in line with its sustainable development goals.
