The situation regarding the global spread of the novel Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is developing very quickly, with many countries experiencing a rapid increase in diagnosed cases. The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has decided a 21-day break starting from 16th of March in the academic calendar. We strongly advise students to refrain from international travel. Students who return from abroad within this period may be asked to follow 14-day self-isolation requirements of the Ministry of Health.
