First Aid and Disaster Preparedness Training Held at Nazilli Health Services Vocational School

A "First Aid and Disaster Preparedness" training session was held on February 18, 2025, at the Conference Hall of Nazilli Health Services

Vocational School (MYO). The training was conducted by Yıldıray Topaloglu, Director of Human Resources and Education at Nazilli Municipality

and Leader of the Nazilli Municipality Disaster Emergency Team, and Uzay Tok, First Aid and Disaster Emergency Trainer of the same team. 

The session was attended by academic staff, administrative staff, and students. The training focused on essential first aid concepts, including the

Heimlich maneuver, poisoning, and injuries. Participants were also informed about critical interventions during fainting and shock situations.

Regarding disaster preparedness, the session addressed important topics such as preparing an emergency kit, conducting risk analysis, and

implementing preventive measures at home. Practical information was provided to enhance individual and family safety and to develop effective

disaster response skills.

 

The training concluded with a Q&A session.
