Within the scope of the protocol signed between our university and the Provincial Police Department, a seminar titled "Cyber Crimes and Cyber Security" was organized for the students of the Faculty of Education on February 18, 2025, at the Isa Bey Hall of Ataturk Congress Center.
The event, moderated by Lecturer Zuhal Mollaogullari, featured Cyber Security Specialist Police Officer Ugur Bulut as the speaker.
Participants were informed about fraudulent activities conducted through the internet, social media, and phone, along with the precautions that should be taken to prevent such crimes. The seminar also provided critical information on illegal betting sites and identity fraud, emphasizing the key points students should be aware of.
The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, followed by the presentation of certificates of appreciation.
