Faculty of Agriculture Represented at a Workshop Sponsored by the European Union in Italy

Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Gençsoylu attended the workshop held in Cmapobasso, Italy, between 16-17 November 2021, within the scope of the Development of Social Economy for Sustainable Agriculture and Development Project, coordinated by the Aydın Governorship.

Aydın Deputy Governor Mustafa Hulisi Arat, Koçarlı Mayor Nedim Kaplan, Köşk Mayor Nuri Güler, Karacasu Mayor Mehmet Erikmen, Aydın Commodity Exchange Council President Bahri Erdel, Aydın Commodity Exchange Board Member Cengiz Ülgen, Efeler Chamber of Agriculture President Mehmet Kendirlioğlu. , President of AYTER inc. Ali Metin Akar, Tabit Smart Agriculture Applications R&D Manager Orhan Kurt, and Aydın Governorship EU and Foreign Relations Office Coordinator and Project Coordinator Reyhan Gülpınar and Emre Özceylan attended the workshop.

In the workshop held with the participation of Portugal, Spain and Italy; presentations were made on subjects such as educational experiences in agriculture, social and sustainable agricultural practices, intercultural agriculture, social agriculture, beekeeping, multi-functional agriculture, roaming chicken production, truffles, and the artistic transformation of agricultural wastes. In addition, examinations were made at the Faculty of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences of Molise University.  

Stating that the workshop was very productive, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Gençsoylu stated that they had a meeting with the Faculty of Agriculture of Molise University and that they will soon carry out studies within the scope of the Erasmus Exchange Program.
