Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sadullah Çelik, Faculty member of the Department of International Trade and Finance at the Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (İİBF) of our university, has been accepted to carry out a research project at George Washington University, one of the most prestigious universities in the United States of America, within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2219 Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çelik will conduct his project titled “Numerical Data Mining in the On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences (OEIS)” under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Max A. Alekseyev in the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics at the George Washington University.
The research aims to contribute to the development of new mathematical theorems by combining disciplines such as data science, computational mathematics and parallel computing. By processing large amounts of data and extracting meaningful patterns, the project aims to produce findings that will bring an innovative perspective to the field of theoretical mathematics. The research will not only produce theoretical knowledge, but will also lead to the development of new methods and tools that aim to gain an important place in the scientific world.
