Faculty Member at ADU Received the Prestigious Scholarship of the World This Year
Faculty Member at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Director of Nanotechnology Research and Application Center, Prof. Dr. Ethem Aktürk was deemed worthy of the "Experienced Researcher Scholarship" of Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation, one of the prestigious awards of the scientific world.

The Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation, one of the world's most prestigious and preferred science support organizations, offers research opportunities to 500 scientists from different countries of the world every year in Germany, and the foundation also has a large network of 27 thousand academicians and researchers, including 54 Nobel laureates, in 140 countries.
Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers, given by the researcher's scientific achievements and independent research potential, can be given to researchers from all over the world regardless of their area of expertise. Within the scope of the scholarship, where only 20% of applications are accepted and an average of three scientists are supported annually in our country, the opportunity to conduct research in Germany is offered with the project of their choice. In addition, the scholarship promises to make a lifelong financial contribution to the future research of the academician or researcher. Prof. Dr. Aktürk will conduct his research at the Munich Technical University Physics Department as part of the scholarship.
