Stating that they celebrated the 45th anniversary of the Peace Operation which was carried out in order to end the long-standing inhumane attitude of Cyprus and to maintain the Turkish presence on the island and bring peace and peace to the island, Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selçuk Aldemir expressed that "We were there yesterday, today we are there, and tomorrow we will be there. Everywhere Turkish Flag waves is Turkish homeland. Cyprus was Turkish in history. It’ll stay Turkish. I commemorate our heroic martyrs and veterans in the operation with gratitude and thankfulness.”.
