European Union Support for the ERASMUS+ Project in which our Faculty Member is involved

The project titled “Colors of Sport, Texture of Culture”, prepared by the team in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pero Duygu Dumangöz, Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Sports Management, Faculty of Sports Sciences of our University, took part as a researcher, was entitled to receive 23,832.00Euro support from the European Union within the scope of ERASMUS+ Key Action 1 - Learning Mobility of Individuals - Mobility of Personnel in the Field of Sport 2024 1st Period (R1) project.

In the project team led by Prof. Dr. Selçuk Bora Çavuşoğlu, Faculty Member of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Sports Management; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pero Duygu Dumangöz, Faculty Member of our University Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Sports Management; Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Sports Management Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemile Nihal Yurtseven, Assoc. Assist. Prof. Dr. Ataman Tükenmez, Assist. Assist. Prof. Dr. Cemal Güler and Assist. Assist. Prof. Dr. Eray Yurtseven from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Biostatistics and Dr. Ayşe Nilay Kantar from Istanbul University are involved.

The mobility project “Colors of Sport, Texture of Culture” aims to create an in-depth understanding between Turkish and Polish cultures through the promotion of Turkish Traditional Sports in Poland. In addition, the Traditional Sports Festival aims to create an active platform for traditional sports open to public participation in Poland, promoting the cultural exchange of the participants both in Poland and in Turkey.
