The crash tests of the canopy, one of the most important parts of aircraft, are carried out with the crash test equipment in the Civil Engineering Construction Laboratory of our University in accordance with ASTM and TAI standards.
As a result of the testing processes carried out with Civil Engineering faculty members, graduate students and Volo company, the domestic and national canopy is now in domestic aircrafts, and as a result of the recent tests, the canopy crash tests of the HÜRKUŞ-2 aircraft were successfully carried out.
