Within the framework of the Erasmus agreement between the Faculty of Agriculture of our University and the Faculty of Life Sciences of Humboldt University in Berlin, Prof. Dr. Frank Chmielewski and Dr. Klaus Peter Götz visited our Faculty on the 15th of October 2019.
Within the framework of the studies carried out with Humboldt University in Berlin since 2003, 40 students from the Faculty of Agriculture completed their two-month internship at the Humboldt University in Berlin. As well as internship activities, 25 post-doc and graduate students, assistants and faculty members made study visits to Humboldt University. As DAAD and IAESTE (German Academic Exchange Service and the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) have provided approximately 70,000 Euros to Germany for exchange of students and teaching staff except the Erasmus budget, while a total of 25 students and faculty members from Berlin Humboldt University visited our faculty. It was announced that international congresses, scientific workshops and projects carried out by the authorities of the two universities will continue in the coming periods.
