A cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing applied education opportunities for students was signed between Karacasu Memnune İnci Vocational School (MYO) of Aydın Adnan Menderes University and the special-qualified accommodation facility Helvacılar Konağı.
Within the scope of the protocol, it is planned that the courses Hotel Management, Front Office Services, and Housekeeping Services and Management, offered at the vocational school, will be conducted practically at Helvacılar Konağı. Through this collaboration, students are expected to translate their theoretical knowledge into practice in a real sector environment and gain professional experience. The protocol aims to enhance students’ professional knowledge and skills, develop their sectoral competencies, and strengthen their employability after graduation, while also contributing to the sustainable development of university–industry collaboration.
Lecturer Mehmet Taşdelen, Director of Karacasu Memnune İnci Vocational School, emphasized that applied education plays a crucial role in students’ professional development and stated that such collaborations significantly improve the quality of education. Emin Mete, owner of Helvacılar Konağı, expressed his satisfaction in contributing to educational processes. It was noted that the signed protocol is expected to be beneficial for both institutions and that similar collaborations will continue in the future.
