At the meeting of our University Senate on March 27, 2024, decision number XII and numbered 2024-04, it was decided to implement the "Invited Multidisciplinary Research Projects" included in the Aydın Adnan Menderes University Scientific Research Projects Directive. The first project topic under this directive has been determined by the Aydın Adnan Menderes University Scientific Research Project (ADUBAP) Commission.
The topic for the Invited Multidisciplinary Research Projects, which have an upper limit of 400,000 TL, is "Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovative Technologies in Agriculture and Livestock." Applications will be accepted through the ADUBAP automation system until August 30, 2024.
These interdisciplinary projects, announced at certain times of the year by determining the topic and conditions (budget and duration), are expected to be in areas prioritized by the university senate or determined by the ADUBAP commission. They must involve at least three centers and be multidisciplinary. Health sciences main disciplines/fields and other departments will be considered separate centers; however, inter-departmental and inter-faculty collaborations will be preferred. The budgets for these types of projects will be determined by the ADUBAP Commission and announced in the call text. According to the conditions specified in "Project Application Article 7," only one (1) scholarship student can be employed and paid for a maximum of 12 months.
Our University's Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal İyem, stated that one of the primary goals of our university is to support research activities and become a nationally and internationally recognized research university. He emphasized that efforts to make Aydın Adnan Menderes University a research university will continue without interruption.
