Before the inauguration of Communication Application Center, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Parliamentary Football Team visited rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selçuk Aldemir and got information about the activities that will take place during the day. During the visit taking place in the Senate Room, Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selcuk Aldemir representing the Committee presented gifts from the University to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Parliamentary Football Team President and Erzurum Deputy Dr. Saadettin Aydın.
After the inauguration, which was held by Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selçuk Aldemir and the deputies, the Advanced Technologies Laboratory, Design Workshop and Electronic Sports Center within the Communication Application Center were visited and information was received from the authorities.
Stating that ADÜTV will make a great contribution to Aydın and the university, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Halim Esen expressed his thanks to Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selcuk Aldemir who made the most important contribution to the realization of the dream of ADÜTV.
ADÜ is the First State University to Invest in E-Sports
A member of the Radio and Cinema Community, the 4th grade student Emre Can Şahin, who stated that ADÜ is the first state university in Turkey to invest in the field of E-Sports, gave information about e-sports viewing rates in the world and in Turkey, e-sports league system and university teams, and the tournaments we participated in the international arena and in our country. Şahin stated that we completed our first international tournament in 10th place among 128 teams and ended his statements by thanking Prof. Dr. Osman Selçuk Aldemir.
We Have an Advanced Foundation in Media-Technology
Asst. Prof. Dr. Behiç Alp Aytekin from the Faculty of Communication, who provided information about the Advanced Technologies Laboratory and Design Workshop, stated that we have an advanced foundation in the field of media-technology and added that early diagnosis of the diseases of children with autism and down syndrome can be made early in the laboratory. Aytekin also stated that this technology coupled with studies at the Technopark can have good results.
ADÜTV Launched Its First Live Broadcast in its Studio
After the inauguration of the Communication Application Center, Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selçuk Aldemir and his delegation performed the first live broadcast of ADÜTV with the students in ADÜ Communication Faculty Studios, which has become one of the best studios in our country technically. Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selçuk Aldemir became the guest of the first live broadcast of ADÜTV in its own studio.
ADÜTV is An Important Project for Sharing Our Activities with the Public
Underlining that ADÜTV is an important project for students to improve themselves, Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selçuk Aldemir stated “We are proud to see that we have received more than we paid for the Faculty of Communication, and we have also seen that we have made the right investments. ADÜTV will serve as a catalyst to convey what is being done at the University to the public so that the people of Aydın will have the opportunity to follow ADÜ more closely. We aim to reach out to the people of Aydın with ADÜ Radio and ADÜ Newspaper.” and he also said that they are planning to do a lot bigger things together and it would be a privilege to be a member of the ADÜ.
The team headed by Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Selçuk Aldemir visited Mac Laboratories, Directing Room, and the Live Broadcasting Studio with the informing of the Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Umut Tuncer, and left the Faculty following interviews with the students.
