Representatives of the national patent offices of the European Patent Office (EPO) member states, PATLIB centers and host organizations came together at the PATLIB Summit. Joint studies to be carried out, increasing the capacity of PATLIB, innovative approaches to PATLIB in Turkey, project issues of intellectual property consulting services for entrepreneurs and the role of PATLIB in the technology transfer were discussed in the summit.
ADÜ Technopark Manager Assoc. Dr. Cemal İyem stated that the meeting in Portugal was important to reflect the concept of PATLIB and it is a strategic meeting to help PATLIB centers redirect to highly qualified, modern, interested patent and innovation service providers.
