Aydın Adnan Menderes University (ADU) has crowned its steady progress in scientific research and academic publishing with a remarkable national achievement. According to the report titled “Scopus Publication Trends of Universities: First Half Analysis of 2025 and 2026,” prepared based on Scopus SciVal data, ADU has further strengthened its position among Türkiye’s leading research universities through its outstanding scientific publication performance.
The report highlights ADU’s strong commitment to research excellence. The University increased its Q1 publication rate—representing publications in the highest-impact scientific journals—by 13.1% compared to the previous year, ranking 7th in Türkiye. This achievement demonstrates not only an increase in the number of publications but also a significant enhancement in the University's capacity to produce high-impact research recognized by the international scientific community.
Another notable finding of the report is ADU’s sustainable success in scientific publishing. During the first six months of 2026, the University produced 503 scientific publications, accounting for 55% of its total publication output in 2025. This performance indicates that ADU is on track to achieve an even higher level of scientific productivity by the end of the year.
