ADU Joins Forces with Universities from Around the World at EAIE 2026 and Signed New Partnership Agreements

Our university participated in the European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference and Fair, held in Glasgow, Scotland, from 8 to 11 September 2026. Our university was represented at the event by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, our Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal İyem, and our Rector’s Adviser, Prof. Dr. Fatih Mehmet Yılmaz.

At the event, which brought together higher education institutions and international education stakeholders from various countries around the world, a ‘Study in Türkiye’ Pavilion was set up, featuring 96 universities from Türkiye. Whilst showcasing our university’s internationalisation efforts, academic expertise and opportunities for collaboration, discussions were held with universities from various countries regarding student and staff mobility, exchange programmes, academic partnerships and joint research projects.

As part of the contacts made, international cooperation and exchange agreements were signed with various higher education institutions, marking a step towards expanding our University’s global academic network. The event also featured sessions and panels on the future of higher education, covering topics such as sustainability, quality assurance, research and development, academic mobility and international partnerships.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, noted that internationalisation holds a significant place amongst our University’s strategic objectives, and stated that international platforms such as the EAIE make a significant contribution to the development of global collaborations. Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent emphasised that efforts to strengthen work in the fields of education and research through international collaborations, to offer new opportunities to students and academics, and to enhance our University’s international visibility will continue.
