Accreditation Process of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Successfully Completed

The Archaeology, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, and Turkish Language and Literature departments of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (ITBF) of our University have successfully completed the evaluation process carried out by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Curricula of Faculties of Science, Literature, Science-Literature, Language, and History Geography (FEDEK) and became accredited.

The accreditation team carried out various observations and examinations to evaluate the quality of education at our University. Within the scope of the examinations carried out to evaluate the accreditation process of ITBF Archaeology, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, and Turkish Language and Literature departments, the delegation visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent.

At the end of the visit, which was attended by our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cemal İyem, Prof. Dr. Erkan Salan, and Prof. Dr. Cengiz ÖzarslanActing Secretary General Prof. Dr. Bertan Akyol, and accompanied by ITBF's Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Tuncay Saygın and Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mesut Günenç, the exit statement prepared by the accreditation team was presented to our Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent.

Stating that accreditation is important in terms of raising the quality of education of the university and increasing its recognition in the national and international arena, our Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent said,

“Accreditation is a big step in raising academic standards and ensuring excellence in education. This process supports the vision of our University by contributing to the development of both our students and faculty members. I would like to thank all our academic and administrative staff and our valuable students who contributed to this process. We have achieved a great success together. Such strategic steps will reinforce the future achievements of our University and carry us even further.”
