ADU Davutlar Vocational High School made its mark on the 11th Culinary Competition of Southern Europe this year held by The World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS) in Thessaloniki, Greece.
In the competition, our Gastronomy Association Team, chaired by Chef Emrah Köksal Sezgin, the faculty member of ADU Davutlar Vocational School and a member of WACS World Cultural Culinary Heritage Committee, who was assigned as a member of the jury on behalf of Turkey in the World Association of Chefs' Societies, won 8 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze medals and 1 merit medal.
From the department of Culinary Arts of Davutlar Vocational High School, Kadir Erdönmez has obtained the merit medal from “Lamb Plate”, the bronze medal has gone to Berkan Tumantozlu from “Restaurant Dessert Plate”, the silver was for Enes Akbaş from “Fish Plate” in the individual categories and we also received three gold medals from the Inter-university Team Competition. Aydın Adnan Menderes University was awarded to the best university of Southern Europe for this achievement and Davutlar Vocational High School made our country proud with 11 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals in total at the competition.
