Due to the declaration of 2025 as the "Year of the Family," a cooperation protocol was signed on February 27, 2025, between the Women and Family Studies Application and Research Center of our University and the Aydın Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services regarding events to be organized within the scope of women and family studies and combating violence against women.
The signing ceremony was attended by our University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent, Aydın Provincial Director of Family and Social Services Abdullah Kömürcüoğlu, Director of the Women and Family Studies Application and Research Center Lecturer Dilek Akıcı, and Deputy Director of Aydın Family and Social Services Aynur Serbes.
Highlighting the importance of projects aimed at combating violence against women and promoting healthy family relationships, our Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent stated that the protocol will be beneficial for both institutions. He emphasized that this cooperation will raise social awareness and enable effective steps to be taken to prevent violence against women.
