A bilateral cooperation protocol was signed between our University and the Aydın Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology

bilateral cooperation protocol was signed on March 10, 2025, between our University and the Aydın Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, with the aim of supporting developments in the fields of industry and technology, strengthening academic and sectoral cooperation, enhancing university-industry interaction, and ensuring the exchange of information, experience, and resources between the parties.

Within the scope of the protocol signed by our University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent and Aydın Provincial Director of Industry and Technology Fatih Ulutaş, it is planned to organize training programs, seminars, and workshops in the fields of industry and technology within the university. Additionally, significant steps will be taken, such as providing academic support for sectoral needs by the Aydın Directorate, preparing and implementing training programs for industrial enterprises. Our University's academics and students will contribute to industry-focused R&D projects and joint sector meetings will be organized within the scope of KÜSİ (Public-University-Industry Collaboration).

The protocol also includes the development of solution-oriented projects, and joint applications to national and international funding sources such as TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, and EU funds. It also covers activities such as the development of technologies for the industry, establishment of joint incubation centersTechnology Transfer Offices (TTOs)innovation centers, encouraging students to do internships in industrial enterprises, and cooperation with industrial organizations for employment.

Stating that this protocol will further deepen the university's cooperation with the industry and contribute to the implementation of innovative projects at both local and national levels, our Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Kent said:

“We believe that by strengthening university-industry cooperation, we will take significant steps both academically and sectorally. This protocol will offer more opportunities to our students and academics in the industrial sector and will also enable us to produce solutions to meet the needs of the industry. I believe that our cooperation with industrial enterprises in Aydın will continue to grow and that this protocol will pave the way for new projects.”
