104th Anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs’ Commemoration Panel was organized
Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs’ Commemoration Panel, which was organized with the contributions of Aydın Adnan Menderes Research and Application Center, Atatürk Principles and History of Turkish Revolution Research and Application Center, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of History, took place on March 21, 2019 in the Miletos Hall of the Atatürk Congress Center.
The panel, which Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Prof. Dr. Kubilay Metin, Head of the Department of History, Faculty of Arts and Sciences Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Üreten, Adnan Menderes Research and Application Center Director Assoc. Dr. Dilşen İnce Erdoğan, Faculty Member of the Department of History Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Toksoy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayten Can, Faculty Member Banu Berber Babalık, Lecturer Coşkun Türkan and a large number of students as well as academic and administrative staff attended, began with the Director of Ataturk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution Research and Application Center Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayten Can’s commemoration of eternal commander Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his fellow fighters and those who died for the motherland with gratitude and thankfulness after a moment of silence and the National Anthem.
In the panel, chaired by Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Üreten, the presentations were made by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilşen İnce on ‘Battle of Commanders in the Battle of Çanakkale’, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Toksoy on ‘Britain's World Politics and the Çanakkale Front’, Lecturer Banu Berber Babalık on ‘Mustafa Kemal in the Battles of Çanakkale’ and Lecturer Coşkun Türkan on ‘The impact of the Çanakkale Front on National and International process during and after the war’.
At the end of the panel, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kubilay Metin gave the panelists certificates of attendance and flowers.
