The "Workplace Stress and Stress Management" training, organized under the coordination of the In-Service Training and Research Coordination Unit, was held on February 20, 2025, at the Isa Bey Hall of our university.
The event was attended by our University’s Acting Secretary-General, Prof. Dr. Bertan Akyol; In-Service Training and Research Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Erkan Kiral; academic and administrative staff, as well as students.
The training was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ulutas, a faculty member at the Faculty of Education and Assistant Coordinator of the In-Service Training and Research Coordination Unit. The session provided participants with information on the causes of workplace stress, its impact on employees, and effective techniques for stress management. Emphasizing both individual and organizational approaches to managing stress, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ulutas presented effective strategies to minimize the negative effects of stress on productivity and job satisfaction.
Prof. Dr. Erkan Kiral highlighted their commitment to the motto "12 Trainings in 12 Months", stating that the training programs aim to contribute to the personal and professional development of university employees. He noted, "Stress management in the workplace is crucial for enhancing both individual well-being and organizational productivity. With such training, we aim to strengthen employees' stress-coping skills and foster a healthier working environment throughout the institution."
